FINANCE DIRECTOR    The Roscommon County Road Commission has an opening for a full-time Finance Director. Applicants must possess at least an Associate's Degree in accounting or finance, or a minimum of 5 years experience in the finance field, with knowledge of public finance and accounting. Applicants must be proficient in all aspects of accounting, computer skills, and possess leadership skills. Responsibilities for the position include budget administration and preparation, management of all fiscal records, inventory files, fixed assets, general ledger, and year-end reports. Responsibilities also include oversight of the preparation of payroll and accounts payable.   Preferred qualifications include Road Commission financial knowledge, including Act 51 reporting. The applicant must be bondable, undergo drug screening, and undergo a reference and/or security check.  Wage will be based on experience and qualifications.
